Prescott public library logo. We are hiring for a summer teen intern

The Teen Internship is in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and funded by the Institute of Library and Museum Services (IMLS).

Open Positions:

Teen Intern (Summer)

Prescott Public Library is seeking a part-time Teen Intern (ages 16-19) for the summer (June-August).  An ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, tech-savvy and enjoys working with people of all ages. Additionally, this person will work well both independently and collaboratively.

This is a part-time position working 10-12 hours per week. Requires willingness and ability to work flexible hours to meet the demands of programs and the library. Includes days and possible evenings and weekend hours. Wage is $15.00 per hour. The City of Prescott is an equal opportunity employer.

We will be having a Teen Internship Information session on Thursday, May 8 at 6:00 PM. This session is to review what the internship will look like and to answer any questions you may have about the library’s teen intern position. This session is NOT mandatory.

  • What the internship will look like
  • What you will be expected to do
  • Learn more about the Connected Learning Project
  • Learn about how to write a Letter of Interest
  • Ask any additional questions you may have about the internship
