Baby & Me

Friday, Sept. 27 | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM         at the Prescott Library

Baby & Me is a no-cost, play and discussion hour for all parents/caregivers with infants (up to 12 months).

You’ll have the opportunity to ask a Parent Educator with the Family Resource Center questions, discuss parenting concerns and build a support network with others wanting the best for their infants.

A dynamic blend of Show ‘n Tell, storytelling, interesting facts and fun hands-on activities that include LIVE critters from Bruce’s arthropod zoo.

Bruce brings: collections of local and exotic preserved insects, LIVE arthropods (tarantula, preying mantises, caterpillars and more), hand puppets & funny bug-related accessories.

Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest

It’s the 5th Annual Virtual Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest!

Carve or decorate a pumpkin and submit a photo of it to the Prescott Public Library. Open to all ages! 

Sponsored by Prescott Community Ed and the Prescott Library.

How to enter
  1. Carve or decorate a pumpkin
  2. Take a photo and submit it by emailing prescottlib@prescottpubliclibrary.org or texting Community Ed at 715-441-8644 October 14-31. Please include:
    • name of carver/decorator
    • email
    • phone #
    • Age if under 18 (there will be a youth and adult division).
Voting

Voting will be November 1-4. Winners will be announced Nov. 5.

Vote online or in-person at the library (photos will be displayed).
